When I worked at the University of Florida in the Biochemistry Department, one of the labs had fresh lobsters flown in for their research then they ate them. No chemicals added I guess. Is it ethical to experiment on lobsters and then reward them for their generous participation in experiments to benefit they were served to hungry researchers. probably not
I think it depends how they were served. A lobster bisque is generally more ethical than a lobster roll.
